Definition

The percentage of net sales attributed to trade spending (Trade Spend % of Sales)

How It's Calculated

(Trade Spend ÷ Net Sales) × 100

Example

If trade spend = $10M on $100M net sales → Trade Spend % of Sales = 10%.
