ACV (All Commodity Volume)

Definition

The total dollar sales of all products sold through a store or group of stores over a period (All Commodity Volume, ACV). It is used as a measure of store size when analyzing distribution and weighted distribution.

How It's Calculated

Sum of total dollar sales of all products in the store(s) over a defined period.

Example

A Kroger store with $50 million in annual sales has an All Commodity Volume (ACV) of $50 million.
