At-Risk Items

Definition

Products or SKUs that are in danger of being reduced, discontinued, or delisted due to underperformance, distribution loss, margin pressure, or strategic changes at the retailer or brand level.

How It's Calculated

Example

A snack brand identifies several slow-moving flavors as at-risk items after velocity declines and reduced shelf space during a category reset, prompting targeted promotions to protect distribution.
