Authorized SKU

Definition

A product that a retailer has approved to carry within its assortment. Authorized SKUs appear on the retailer’s item file and planogram, enabling orders, replenishment, and reporting.

How It's Calculated

Example

A retailer authorizes three flavors of a new sparkling water line, allowing the distributor to begin shipping those SKUs into all stores in the region.
