Bin

Definition

A physical in-store merchandising fixture used to display products outside of the regular shelf set, typically to drive impulse purchases or promotional volume. Bins are commonly used for temporary promotions or seasonal items.

A confectionery brand places single-serve items in bins near the checkout area to capture incremental sales during a seasonal promotion.
