Definition

Share of initiated online carts that are not converted into purchases (Cart Abandonment Rate)

How It's Calculated

((Carts created − Purchases) ÷ Carts created) × 100

Example

Out of 1,000 carts started on Walmart.com, 700 did not complete checkout → Cart Abandonment Rate = 70%.
