Dollars per TDP (Total Distribution Points)

Definition

A productivity metric that measures the average dollar sales generated per unit of distribution, based on Total Distribution Points (TDP). Dollars per TDP evaluates how efficiently a product converts distribution into revenue.

How It's Calculated

Total sales dollars ÷ Total Distribution Points (TDP)

Example

A beverage brand generates $1,000,000 in sales with 500 TDP, resulting in $2,000 Dollars per TDP, indicating strong productivity relative to its distribution footprint.
