Feature Week

Definition

The number of weeks during which a product is supported by feature advertising (e.g., circulars, digital ads, or retailer media) within a defined reporting period. Feature weeks reflect the duration of advertising support, not sales performance.

How It's Calculated

Count of weeks in which feature activity is recorded

Example

A cereal brand appears in a retailer’s weekly circular for four weeks during a promotional period, resulting in 4 Feature Weeks.
