Horizontal Display

Definition

A merchandising approach in which products are arranged side-by-side across a shelf or display, typically grouping items by flavor, size, or variant within the same brand or category. Horizontal displays emphasize variety and comparison across a single shelf level.

How It's Calculated

Example

A yogurt brand uses a horizontal display to place different flavors next to each other on the same shelf, making it easy for shoppers to compare options and select their preferred variety.
