Island Display

Definition

A freestanding in-store display positioned in an open area of the sales floor, accessible from multiple sides and typically used to maximize visibility and shopper interaction. Island displays are often used for high-impact promotions or seasonal items.

How It's Calculated

Example

A beverage brand sets up an island display in the center of a store aisle during a summer promotion, allowing shoppers to access the product from all sides and increasing impulse purchases.
