Merchandising Condition

Definition

The specific type of in-store merchandising or promotional support applied to a product during a given period, such as feature, display, feature & display, or price reduction. Merchandising condition is used to categorize how a product is being supported at retail.

How It's Calculated

Example

A beverage brand analyzes sales by merchandising condition and finds that performance is highest during feature & display weeks compared to price reduction only.
