Non-Promoted Price

Definition

The average price of a product when it is not supported by any promotional activity, such as feature, display, or price reduction. Non-promoted price reflects the everyday or base selling price.

How It's Calculated

Total non-promoted sales dollars ÷ Total non-promoted units sold

Example

A cereal brand sells at an average of $3.99 during non-promoted weeks and $2.99 during promotions, with $3.99 representing the non-promoted price.
