Out-of-Stock Percentage

Definition

The percentage of observations in which a product is unavailable on shelf (Out-of-Stock Percentage)

How It's Calculated

(Out-of-stock observations ÷ Total observations) × 100

Example

If a snack brand is missing 20 times out of 200 checks → Out-of-Stock Percentage = 10%.
