Promo ARP (Promoted Average Retail Price)

Definition

The average retail price of a product during promotional periods, reflecting the effective price paid by consumers when supported by activities such as feature, display, or price reduction.

How It's Calculated

Promoted sales dollars ÷ Promoted units sold

Example

A cereal brand sells 5,000 units during promotion generating $10,000 in sales, resulting in a Promo ARP of $2.00, reflecting the discounted price during the promotional period.
