Definition

The average price at which a product is sold during promotional periods, including discounts, temporary price reductions, or other promotional support.

How It's Calculated

Promoted sales dollars ÷ Promoted units sold

Example

A snack brand typically sells for $3.99, but during a promotion sells for an average of $2.99, representing the promoted price.
