Promoted Sales

Definition

Sales generated during periods when a product is supported by promotional activity, such as feature, display, or price reduction. Promoted sales reflect performance under heightened visibility or discounted pricing conditions.

How It's Calculated

Total sales dollars or units during promoted periods

Example

A snack brand sells 5,000 units during a promotion compared to 3,000 units during non-promoted periods, with the 5,000 units representing promoted sales.
