Sales per Point of Distribution (SPPD)

Definition

A measure of sales performance normalized for distribution, showing sales per percentage point of All Commodity Volume distribution (Sales per Point of Distribution, SPPD)

How It's Calculated

Total sales ÷ % All Commodity Volume distribution

Example

If sales = $1M and % All Commodity Volume (ACV) = 50, SPPD = $20K per point.
