TDP (Total Distribution Points)

Definition

A weighted distribution metric that combines percent All Commodity Volume and the number of items carried (Total Distribution Points, TDP)

How It's Calculated

% All Commodity Volume (ACV) × Number of Stock Keeping Units (SKUs)

Example

A cereal brand with 80% All Commodity Volume (ACV) and 5 Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) has 400 Total Distribution Points (TDP).
