Definition

The percentage of consumers who can recall a brand without being given cues (Unaided Awareness)

How It's Calculated

(Respondents who recall brand ÷ Total respondents) × 100

Example

40% of respondents say “Coca-Cola” when asked what soft drink brands come to mind.
