Velocity

Definition

A measure of how quickly products sell at stores where they are available (Velocity)

How It's Calculated

Total sales ÷ Number of stores selling ÷ Time period

Example

If 1,000,000 units sold across 1,000 stores in 10 weeks → Velocity = 100 units per store per week.
